Principal’s Message

Dear Cougar Families,

Welcome to a brand-new school year! I hope your summer has been filled with fun, relaxation, and special moments with family and friends. As we prepare to open our doors for another exciting year at Lyle Schools, I couldn't be more excited to welcome back our returning families and greet those joining our Cougar community for the very first time.

This year, we are proud to focus on The Cougar Way. The Cougar Way isn't just our theme—it is who we are. It represents the choices we make each day to treat others with kindness and respect, take responsibility for our actions, work hard, persevere through challenges, and lift each other up. Together, we will continue building a school where every student is known, valued, challenged, and inspired to become the very best version of themselves.

At Lyle Schools, we are committed to providing every student with an exceptional educational experience. Our goal is to foster academic excellence while ensuring every child feels a strong sense of belonging and purpose. We believe students thrive when they are challenged to reach their highest potential, supported by caring adults, and surrounded by a community that celebrates growth, effort, and achievement. Together, we are preparing our students not only for success in the classroom, but for success in life.

Every new school year brings a fresh start and endless possibilities. Whether your child is taking their first steps into Pre-K, beginning middle school, or preparing for graduation, they have an opportunity to learn something new, discover their strengths, build meaningful relationships, and create memories that will last a lifetime. We are honored to be part of that journey.

Our teachers and staff are excited to welcome students back for another year of learning and growth. They are committed to creating engaging learning experiences, building strong relationships, and providing a safe, supportive environment where every student can thrive. From the first day of school, our team will be focused on helping students grow academically, socially, and emotionally while encouraging them to reach their full potential.

At Lyle Schools, we know that the strongest foundation for student success is the partnership between school and home. Your encouragement, involvement, and support make a tremendous difference. We invite you to stay connected, attend school events, celebrate your child's accomplishments, and communicate with us throughout the year. Together, there is no limit to what our students can achieve.

Before the first day of school, I encourage you to join us for our Open House on Monday, August 24, from 5:00–7:00 p.m. This is a wonderful opportunity to meet your child's teachers, visit classrooms, reconnect with friends, and learn more about the exciting year ahead. We look forward to welcoming your family and starting the school year together.
