Welcome to Dallesport Elementary, Located on the Lyle Schools Campus

Lyle School District #406 is located in the Columbia River Gorge and serves the residents of Lyle, Dallesport, Appleton, High Prairie, Timber Valley, Murdock and the surrounding areas. Lyle School District offers a K-12 educational system for approximately 215 students throughout the school district.

Dallesport Elementary School is one of three independent, small, rural schools housed on the Lyle Community Schools Campus. We are committed to providing small class sizes with a teacher and classified teaching team working together to ensure an excellent education for each of our students.

Our creative and dedicated staff work hard to make sure students experience the benefits of a comprehensive school within the context of a small, rural school community. 

Our pre-K through 5th grade school offers music, art, physical education and technology opportunities for each of our students. 

Hours & Extras

School begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. except on Wednesday when the school has a one-hour late start. Hours on Wednesdays are 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

All students receive free, nutritious meals. A healthy breakfast is available from 8:00-8:30 a.m. in the cafeteria and all students are encouraged to start their day off with a great meal.

While regular classes are dismissed at 3:00 p.m., the learning continues until 5 p.m. We provide after-school services for students in grades 2-5 through the REACH program for supplemental educational experiences and tutoring, along with transportation.
